Customer Experience Statistics Compendium

Over at the eConsultancy blog, Graham Charlton has compiled a great compendium of topical Customer Experience statistics that you should find interesting. There is a good selection for you to delve into, ranging from statistics on customer engagement, usability and accessibility, to how 5% of online retailers refuse to return items.

One of the more uplifting statistics is reports that now only 1% of respondents felt that customer emotional engagement was “not important”, marking a dramatic shift in thinking that Beyond Philosophy has been part of. (Econsultancy / cScape Online Customer Engagement Report)

Have you got any great stats to add? Or is there an often mis-quoted statistic you are fed up of hearing? Let us know in the comments.
